Our beads are large holed glass beads with metal cores (in silver and gold); sometimes known as Pandora Beads or Troll Beads. Pandora is a trademark of a Danish company - these are not Pandora beads, but they are very similar in size and shape. The metal core of Pandora beads is either sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver, whereas these metal cores are brass with silver and gold plating.
There are also silver beads or charms with large holes, as well as crystal beads without metal cores.
The enhanced rhodium plating process used in these beads creates an exceptional finish and increases durability. These beads are compatible with all the major name brands of "create your own jewelry" as well as a wide variety of stringing materials, including our very own add-a-bead bracelets and necklaces!
